ConstructiveDevSteps
Our Origin & Vision

The first economic initiative

ConstructiveDevSteps is a brand-new initiative, started by a small group of Haitian immigrants who were tired of watching aid disappear — and decided to invest instead.

The founding diaspora group's first initiative, 2018
Micro-economic origin

From a diaspora kitchen table
to vetted infrastructure

The founders — Haitian immigrants pooling their own money — are starting the way the best aid does: with one small, concrete project. The plan is to buy shared equipment for a handful of market vendors, so the income stays local and compounds.

That first project is the template for everything ConstructiveDevSteps intends to do: invest in capacity, hire locally, and prove the impact in public.

Step 1
Fund the first project
Pool diaspora gifts into one vetted, community-led project.
Step 2
Prove it in public
Report every dollar and every result openly before we grow.
Step 3
Reinvest & expand
Channel proven results into the next community.
Goal
Capacity that compounds
Local jobs and income that outlast any single gift.
